CVE-2024-31245Network attack vector

Subscriber-data disclosure via unprotected debug logging

Published Apr 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Sensitive-data exposure in the Kit WordPress plugin 2.4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to read logged subscriber data. The debug logger writes email addresses, first names, and signed subscriber IDs without masking them and stores the log in an unprotected plugin path. Exposure requires debug logging to contain subscriber activity and the log file to be web-accessible; disclosed impact is limited to reading those logged values.
