Unauthenticated controller interruption via malformed OpenFlow message
Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Open Networking Foundation libfluid 0.1.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt a controller via OpenFlow traffic. The flaw occurs in TableFeaturePropActions::unpack, but Nozomi has not disclosed the malformed field or specific missing bounds check that permits the read. Exploitation requires network reachability to a controller or driver using the affected parser and can stop the target component.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
