Component crash via OXM property overread
Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in libfluid 0.1.0 allows remote attackers to crash an OpenFlow component via a crafted OXM table-feature property. The libfluid_msg TableFeaturePropOXM::unpack routine reads past the supplied message buffer while decoding that property. An application must expose the affected parser to untrusted OpenFlow traffic; successful exploitation interrupts the component without reported data modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
