Service interruption via unchecked port-statistics parsing
Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in ONF libfluid 0.1.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt an OpenFlow component with a crafted port-statistics reply. StatsReplyPort::unpack reads beyond the supplied OpenFlow message buffer while decoding malformed port statistics. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the bounded reported consequence is interruption of the component embedding the library.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
