CVE-2024-31113Network attack vector

Forced privileged actions via faulty nonce validation

Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

CSRF in Easy Digital Downloads 3.2.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to force privileged actions through a victim's browser. An undisclosed request handler omits or incorrectly performs WordPress nonce validation, so it accepts a forged request with the victim's session. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to click a malicious link or visit a crafted page; the exact action and consequence are undisclosed.
