File disclosure via unvalidated block attribute path
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Spectra Legacy 2.12.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server-side attributes.php files. The get_block_default_attributes function builds an attributes.php path from an unvalidated block name without confining the result to the blocks directory. Contributor-level access is sufficient; disclosure is limited to matching files accessible to the PHP process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
