Broker crash via unchecked MQTT property read

Heap-buffer overflow in NanoMQ 0.21.7 allows remote authenticated users to crash the broker through crafted MQTT packets. During PUBLISH property decoding, mqtt_codec.c read_byte increments curpos and dereferences it without checking the 387-byte buffer boundary. CISA assesses exploitation as requiring low privileges and user interaction; the demonstrated packet sequence aborts the broker process.
