Unauthenticated SQL execution via unsanitized compname parameter
Published Apr 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in phpgurukul Cyber Cafe Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run arbitrary SQL via the compname parameter. The edit-computer-detail.php handler incorporates insufficiently validated compname input into a database query, and a crafted SLEEP subquery changes its execution. Network access to the endpoint is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can read, alter, or interrupt database-backed operations.
