Improper input validation in eProsima Fast DDS 2.14.0 and earlier allows local users to interrupt service via a crafted max_samples value. DataWriterHistory checks max_instances when deciding whether to normalize max_samples, while related history constructors normalize only zero and leave negative resource limits untreated. Exploitation requires local control of application-supplied QoS values; the published CISA assessment records low availability impact and no confidentiality impact.
