Administrator browser script execution via upload_drive injection
Published Apr 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in RageFrame2 2.6.43 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser through upload_drive. The file-selector response insufficiently filters upload_drive, so a closing script tag terminates the intended value and introduces attacker-controlled HTML and JavaScript. An administrator must follow the crafted link; the injected script then runs in that authenticated browser context and can expose accessible data.
