SQL injection via unsanitized VirtualSiteId parameter
Published Apr 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2024
SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3 allows remote attackers to execute database queries via VirtualSiteId. The /admin/edit_virtual_site_info.php handler accepts a quote-bearing VirtualSiteId form value that reaches an SQL context without effective neutralization. The endpoint is network-reachable, but the only published request carries a PHP session cookie, leaving the authentication gate and database-level consequences undisclosed.
