CVE-2024-30862Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated SQL injection via User-Agent header

Published Apr 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to access or alter database data through /3g/index.php. The endpoint incorporates the User-Agent header into an SQL statement; the published request uses updatexml error output to extract the database name. A valid PHP session is required, and successful exploitation can expose or alter stored data or interrupt the gateway service.
