Browser script execution via reflected m parameter
Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
Reflected XSS in netcccyun Rainbow External Link Network Disk 5.5 allows remote attackers to execute script via the index.php m parameter. The affected index.php emits the m query value into a hidden form field without context-safe output encoding, allowing a quote-closing payload to become executable markup. An unauthenticated attacker must induce a user to open the crafted URL; execution is limited to that user's browser session and the application's origin.
