Script execution via unescaped autocomplete option
Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
Cross-site scripting in EasyCorp EasyAdminBundle 4.8.0 through 4.8.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via autocomplete. The option renderer in assets/js/autocomplete.js interpolates item.entityAsString into a div without applying its provided escape function. Exploitation requires low-privilege access and a user to load the crafted autocomplete option, allowing script execution in that user's browser.
