CVE-2024-3080Network attack vector

Unauthenticated access to router administration

Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Authentication bypass in affected ASUS router firmware allows remote attackers to log in to the device without credentials. TWCERT/CC and ASUS have not published the affected authentication locus or the operation that incorrectly accepts an unauthenticated request. Network reachability to the login service is the stated gate; successful exploitation creates a device session, but public sources do not define its privileges.
