Authenticated arbitrary command execution
Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in ASUS router firmware allows remote authenticated users with administrative privileges to execute commands. TWCERT/CC and the CNA record do not disclose the affected request, handler, buffer, or unchecked copy operation that causes the overflow. Administrative access to a network-reachable management interface is required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands on the router.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
