Stored XSS via unescaped widget attributes
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in FlickDevs Elementor ImageBox 1.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts into pages. The ImageBox widget render path writes user-supplied attributes into page markup without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the payload runs only when a user visits the injected page and is confined to that user’s browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
