Authenticated command execution via unsanitized deviceName
Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
OS command injection in Tenda AC15 firmware 15.03.20_multi allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via deviceName. The /goform/setUsbUnload handler passes the client-controlled deviceName value directly to doSystemCmd without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Access from an adjacent network and valid low-privilege authentication are required; successful exploitation permits full device compromise.
