Router crash via schedStartTime stack overflow
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stack overflow in Tenda FH1203 firmware 2.0.1.6 allows remote attackers to crash the router via a crafted schedStartTime value. The setSchedWifi function copies the attacker-controlled parameter into a fixed-size stack buffer without checking its length. No authentication or user interaction is required; the public proof of concept establishes the overflow, while reliable code execution is not demonstrated.
