Database disclosure via unescaped campaign identifier
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in ENL Newsletter 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read database data. The campaign-run handler places the id parameter into an SQL statement without sanitizing, escaping, or preparing it, so appended expressions alter the query. Administrator access to wp-admin is required; a crafted request produces a verified time delay and can extract sensitive database information.
