Service interruption via schedEndTime stack overflow
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1202 firmware 1.2.0.14(408) allows adjacent remote attackers to interrupt the router service. The setSchedWifi function processes an oversized attacker-controlled schedEndTime value without enforcing the destination stack buffer bounds. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the attacker must have adjacent-network access; the published impact is limited to availability.
