Service interruption via deviceId stack buffer overflow
Published Mar 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack overflow in saveParentControlInfo in Tenda FH1202 firmware 1.2.0.14(408) allows remote attackers to interrupt router service. The public record identifies the attacker-controlled deviceId parameter and affected handler but does not disclose the operation that overruns the stack buffer. Reachability requires adjacent-network access; no authentication or user interaction is required, and published impact is limited to availability.
