CVE-2024-3058Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored browser script execution via missing nonce validation

Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in Darell Sun ENL Newsletter 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts via forged requests. The enl-add-new administration page accepts forged campaign fields without nonce validation, then stores subject and template values without sanitizing or escaping them. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML, after which the payload executes in a browser and can alter content or access session-visible data.
