Unauthenticated device-data disclosure via hidden debug page
Published Apr 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 19, 2024
Information disclosure in NETGEAR R6850 firmware 1.1.0.88 allows remote attackers to read device data via debuginfo.htm. The hidden web-management page performs no authentication check before returning the WAN connection type and product model name. Network reachability to the management interface is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of device and connection metadata.
