CVE-2024-30482Network attack vector

Unauthorized revision deletion via missing nonce validation

Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

CSRF in Simple Revisions Delete 1.5.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete post revisions through a forged request. The revision-deletion request handler accepts the action without valid nonce verification, allowing the victim's authenticated browser to authorize it. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to open a crafted link, and the bounded consequence is unauthorized revision deletion.
