Unauthenticated blocklist bypass via spoofed IP address
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
IP address spoofing in LionScripts IP Blocker Lite 11.1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass configured IP blocklists. The plugin insufficiently validates the client IP address used for its blocklist decision, allowing a request to present a spoofed address. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful requests can reach content that the site intended to withhold from blocked addresses.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
