Contributor-level script execution in visitors' browsers
Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in bPlugins B Slider 1.1.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in visitors' browsers. The CNA and vendor advisory do not identify the affected field or code path, stating only that contributor-supplied content is stored without sufficient neutralization. Contributor access is required, and exploitation depends on a privileged user or visitor loading the crafted slider content, exposing browser-session data and permitting actions in that user's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
