Sustained denial of service via l2ald restart

Improper condition handling in Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows attackers to cause sustained denial of service. Telemetry requests reach l2ald while drend is suspended; l2ald fails to handle that exceptional state, crashes, and restarts. Exploitation requires adjacent network access and an independently occurring drend suspension; repeated trigger conditions sustain the interruption.
