Information disclosure via unchecked U3D parsing
Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in U3D parsing in Foxit PDF Reader 2023.3.0.23028 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose process memory. The U3D parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated object. Opening a crafted PDF or visiting a malicious page is required; alone, the flaw discloses information, while code execution requires chaining with another vulnerability.
