Information disclosure via AcroForm Annotation out-of-bounds read
Published Apr 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit PDF Reader and PDF Editor through 2023.3.0 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted PDF. The AcroForm Annotation handler fails to validate user-supplied object data before reading beyond the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file or visit a page that supplies it; the read exposes data and supports code execution only when chained with another flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
