Open redirect via unvalidated login failure URL
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Open redirect in Themify Builder before 7.5.8 allows remote attackers to send users to attacker-controlled sites through a login request. The failed-login flow accepts the tb_redirect_fail parameter and places its unvalidated URL in a 302 Location response. No authentication is required, but an attacker must persuade a user to submit the crafted request; the result is redirection rather than direct server compromise.
