Current-user code execution via out-of-bounds PDF write
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader 20.005.30574 and 24.002.20736 and earlier allows attackers to execute code. PDF-file handling fails to validate user-supplied data before writing it past the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious PDF or visit a malicious page, and resulting code runs in the current process and user context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
