Code execution via malicious file parsing
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stack overflow in Adobe FrameMaker 2020 Update 5 and earlier and 2022 Update 3 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. FrameMaker overflows a stack buffer while parsing attacker-controlled file data; Adobe has not published the affected parser, function, or malformed field. A victim must open the file, and successful exploitation runs code with the victim's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
