NULL pointer dereference in Adobe Audition 24.2 and 23.6.4 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the operation that dereferences a null pointer while processing the file. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted file; the resulting impact is an application crash, not system-wide service loss.
