An out-of-bounds write in Adobe Illustrator 2024 28.3 and earlier and 2023 27.9.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the bounds-checking failure that permits the write beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and successful code runs with the privileges of the current user.
