Database configuration disclosure via unauthenticated engine route
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information exposure in FIT2CLOUD DataEase before 2.5.0 allows remote attackers to read database configuration via a crafted URL. The unauthenticated /de2api/engine/getEngine;.js route returns the platform's database configuration instead of enforcing access control. Network access to the web service is sufficient, and the disclosed configuration can expose database connection details without altering data.
