CVE-2024-30250Network attack vector

CSP allow-list bypass via attacker-supplied integrity hashes

Published Apr 4, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

CSP bypass in KindSpells Labs Astro-Shield 1.2.0 through 1.3.1 allows remote attackers to authorize injected cross-origin resources. The updateDynamicPageSriHashes routine accepted an integrity value from each rendered element and added that hash to the page CSP without requiring its external URL to have a precomputed allow-list hash. Exploitation requires a separate ability to inject markup into middleware-rendered pages; the bypass then authorizes the injected cross-origin script or stylesheet.
