CVE-2024-30246Network attack vector

Cross-artifact data deletion via misselected changeset values

Published Mar 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024

Improper deletion in Tuleap 14.11.99.34 through 15.7.99.5 allows remote authenticated users to delete unrelated artifact field data. The artifact move and deletion cleanup path selects the wrong changeset-value rows, removing values belonging to unrelated artifacts and leaving orphaned database records. Access sufficient to move or delete an artifact reaches the flaw, but the deleted values cannot be chosen precisely and currently enforced artifact permissions remain intact.
