Stored script execution via unencoded User-Agent setting
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in SAP Business Connector 4.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. The Resource Settings page stores the Outbound HTTP Settings User-Agent value and renders it without context-appropriate output encoding. High-privilege access is required to plant the payload, and another user must visit the page; execution can expose or modify limited browser-accessible data.
