Browser script execution via reflected invoke parameters
Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in SAP Business Connector 4.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The /invoke/ service endpoints copy arbitrary GET parameter names into HTML responses without context-appropriate output encoding. A high-privilege account must prepare the request and induce another user to open it, enabling data theft or actions with that user's rights.
