CVE-2024-30210

Unauthorized Wi-Fi access via default password

Published Apr 12, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Use of default credentials in IOSiX IO-1020 Micro ELD through version 360 allows attackers to gain unauthorized Wi-Fi access. The device's Wi-Fi access point accepts its manufacturer-set default password instead of requiring a device-specific or user-changed credential. Attackers must be within Wi-Fi range; successful access exposes device communications, with no reported ability to alter data or interrupt service.
