Code execution in Gnus in GNU Emacs before 29.3 allows attackers to run arbitrary code by opening a crafted inline MIME part. The mm-display-inline-fontify function leaves rendered MIME content trusted, so Org mode processing does not apply its untrusted-content safeguards. A user must open a malicious message, and upstream discussion states that the trust-marking change requires related Org mode protections to be effective.
