CVE-2024-30190Public exploit

Client disconnection via spoofed power-save state

Published Apr 9, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Authentication bypass in Siemens SCALANCE W700 wireless devices allows physically proximate attackers to disconnect clients via spoofed frames. The access point trusts the unauthenticated power-save bit in an injected 802.11 frame and queues traffic for the spoofed victim station. An attacker within radio range needs a network card capable of frame injection; sustained queuing disconnects the client and interrupts its wireless service.
