Stored XSS via unescaped title tag
Published Mar 27, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in BdThemes Prime Slider 3.13.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through a title tag. The plugin stores a contributor-supplied title without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, then renders it as executable page content. Contributor-level access is required, and the script runs when another user visits the affected page, allowing browser-context data access or page modification.
