Administrative application import via endpoint access-control failure
Published Apr 30, 2025 · Updated May 1, 2025
Improper access control in HCL Domino Leap 1.1.3 through 1.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to import server-local applications. The import endpoint applies insufficient role checks before accepting an application package located on the Domino server's filesystem. A qualifying administrator account and network access to the session-authenticated service are required; successful use reads a server-local package into Leap and changes its deployed application set.
