Unauthorized user actions via missing framing protection
Published Jul 18, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Clickjacking in HCL BigFix Compliance Analytics before 2.0.11 allows remote attackers to induce unintended actions via a framed page. The Analytics web interface omits X-Frame-Options, allowing an attacker-controlled site to embed its pages beneath deceptive controls. Exploitation requires a user to visit the malicious site and interact with the disguised interface; resulting actions remain limited by that user's privileges.
