Stored script execution via unsanitized HTML widget
Published Apr 24, 2025 · Updated Apr 24, 2025
Cross-site scripting in HCL Leap before 9.3.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute client-side script through an HTML widget. The deployed-application HTML widget applies an insufficient sanitization policy to attacker-supplied markup before rendering it in a visitor's browser. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to place widget content and user interaction to render it, exposing application data and page content.
