Authenticated script execution via undisclosed XSS locus
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Cross-site scripting in HCL Connections 7.0 and 8.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. HCL has not published the affected input or code locus; the disclosure states only that attacker-controlled content reaches a rendered page. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction, and the resulting browser-context access can expose cookie credentials and compromise the victim's account.
