CVE-2024-30111

Unauthorized data access via missing root detection

Published Jun 28, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Missing root detection in the HCL DRYiCE AEX 10 mobile app allows local users to access application data on rooted devices. The mobile client's device-integrity gate permits installation and use on a rooted device without detecting or rejecting that compromised state; HCL has not disclosed the specific failed check. Exploitation requires user interaction on a locally controlled rooted device, and the published vendor assessment limits the technical impact to loss of confidentiality.
