Local SYSTEM code execution via improper input validation
Published Jun 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Improper input validation in Microsoft Windows Win32k allows local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM from a low-privilege process. The win32kfull driver fails to validate attacker-controlled input, but no public source names the routine, input, or subsequent operation. Exploitation requires the ability to run low-privileged code locally and grants complete control in the SYSTEM context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
